dicksie - I've always thought the idea of 18 PL clubs is a good one, 2 less joke clubs and 4 less games per season so these poor souls don't get burnt out.

Plus a seemingly arrogant manager with no understanding that the Championship is a bastard of a league where hardworking teams are at you all the time.
Not sure what they can do in about a week to bring in players but will be a long season.

I looked at the Fulham squad and hardly recognise any of their players. They must have done a complete overhaul of their squad. I guess it will take time for them to gel, but looking at their fixture list the games coming up look difficult.

They look awful. Lack of balance and experience in the side. Can't see Parker staying there. I'm guessing since they don't get big crowds that they can't spend money without being shafted with FFP rules. Don't know how QPR got away with it.

If they don't turn it around pretty soon I feel there could be a fate far worse than relegation awaiting them.
I would imagine (but don't actually KNOW) that some of their larger purchases were made via instalments and if so, some of those instalments could well be due in the early part of this season.
If revenue is down across several income streams they're going to struggle. Then, of course, there's the taxman waiting in the wings...
